Well after complaining that the deadline was too far off we only got 2 entries. I'm not offering an extension as the time limit was long enough.
I havent decided wether there is a point in judging this contest as 2 entries is hardly a fair judge.

I would like to see some people submit some work for the challenge, so that will be the clubs next little venture.

I would like to see what you guys can do!
I want something Daily Deviation worthy out of you guys!

If you guys can wow me with this challenge, I'll probably suggest it for a daily deviation.
I will of course suggest your original deviation location in your own gallery, not the club submission.

Everyone is welcome to try out this challenge, however only members can submit to the club.




Re-create a masterpeice Challenge

This challenge was *KRIS-13's idea.

This challenge has no prizes, it's purely for you to see what you can do!
I want you to take a famous painting or peice of art from history ( a Van gogh, monet, davinci, Michelagelo, picasso, dahli, freda ect) and redraw/make it as a cartoon image.
Any painting or peice of art in history that you like.

Sculptures are okay, so if you want to do Michelangeos David, thats alright.
When you submit it, make sure you say the name of the artist and the work in your description so we can look it up and compare alright?

Sorry but this is important as we wish to help people in a style that our members and admin use. There are plenty of places where you can show off your work in this genre, however this is not one of them!
Comic artists and Cartoonists are openly welcome!

IMAGES MUST NOT HAVE RACIST REMARKS, EXTREME SEXUAL CONTENT OR EXTREME VIOLENCE AND GORE
This is obvious where this comes into effect. while we do not wish to squish youre creative freedoms we still do wish to have the site open for a large range of age groupes.

WHAT ADMIN SAYS IS FINAL
We don't want to end up with someone trying to take on an admin over a choice that they made. The Club organisers will stand by the admin on all counts.

IF YOU CLAIM SOMEONE ELSES WORK AS YOUR OWN YOU WILL BE EXPLED FROM THE CLUB AND WORSE.
we have professional artists in this club. All of whom work hard on their work. stealling work and claiming it as youre own is unacceptable to our club in every way. You will be removed from the club, DA will be informed and if the artist has a legal copright they will more than likely try and sue you.

How to join

You should send a note to the club labeled - "I wish to join the club" at which point one of the club admin will check youre gallery to see if you are sutiable
you will need to have in your note

1.name
2.link to a gallery

All current and potential members must show the logo of the club on their pages or signature and devwatch the page for news updates. No exceptions.

how to submit work to be showcased

Show cased peices will be placed in the deviation gallery of the club with a link to the creators site. To have your work showcased then send us a note titled "submited work"
To have your piece showcased then send us

1. a link to your piece of work
2. the name of youre piece of work
3. your username

You may only have one piece of work being processed as submitted at a time.
Please note that all submissions to the gallery must be gallery presentable, not scraps. This means no lined paper, crop off your book spirals, scan it straight and make sure it is a refined finished peice of work (no sketches or doodles). We would like to showcase your best work.
